Happy with revival of international cricket in Pakistan: Rana Fawad

Lahore (Staff Report): The owner of PSL-2’s team ‘Lahore Qalandars’, Rana Fawad, expressed his delight on occasion of the PSL final regarding the revival of cricket in Pakistan but upset about Qalandars not making the final on Sunday at Gaddafi Stadium.

Lahore Qalandars was the first team to get eliminated from PSL-2 and the elimination had upset team’s owner.

Rana Fawad expressed his mixed bittersweet feeling about the final being played in Lahore without Lahore Qalandars in final.

He also said that he is happy to watch the revival of international cricket in Pakistan and feels jubilant to see the Gaddafi Stadium ALIVE again; even his team could not make it to the final at their hometown, in front of the Lahori crowd.

He felicitated Javed Afridi, owner of Peshawar Zalmi, for winning the PSL 2017.

Rana Fawad also said that Pakistan has won.
