PM Imran, COAS Bajwa in Quetta to review Balochistan's security situation

Quetta (Staff Report/Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived in Quetta on Saturday to review the security situation in Balochistan.

According to a tweet by Major General Asif Ghafoor, Director General Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Prime Minister Imran Khan will be briefed on the security situation of Balochistan at Southern Command headquarters.

Earlier on his arrival, Prime Minister Imran Khan was received by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan at Quetta airport.

During his visit, the prime minister will preside over a high level meeting to review development projects and overall security situation in Balochistan.

He will also hold meetings with Governor Balochistan Justice Retd Amanullah Khan Yasinzai, Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal and members of provincial cabinet.

The PM will also meet parliamentarians and representatives of civil society.

Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Information Minister Chaudhary Fawad Hussain, Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Qasim Khan Suri, Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi and the PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haq are accompanying the Prime Minister.
