Rawalpindi (Staff Report/Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday visited the restive Line of Control (LoC).
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during their visit, the prime minister and army chief will interact with troops and meet the families of martyrs.
The premier will also accompanied by Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chairman of Special Committee on Kashmir Syed Fakhar Imam, the military's media wing added.
The country is observing Defence Martyrs Day to pay tributes to the martyrs and ghazis and reaffirm commitment to defend the motherland against all threats. This year, Defence and Martyrs Day is also being observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day.
