Civilian martyred in unprovoked firing by Indian troops along LoC: ISPR

Rawalpindi: Azeem, a 26-year-old Pakistani citizen, embraced martyrdom due to unprovoked firing by the Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bagsar Sector, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said on Monday.

The Pakistan army’s media wing said that a woman is critically injured from the fire targeting civil population.

“Indian post undertaking fire [was] targeted in response by Pakistan Army troops,” the ISPR added.

Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to those posts targeting civil population. Cease fire violations along LoC are on the increase yet again.

The Foreign Office summoned Indian High Commissioner and record its protest over the incident.
