8 Pakistani money launderers apprehended

Riyadh (Staff Report): Saudi police authorities arrested at least eight Pakistani citizens on charges of money laundering for transfer of money to Pakistan on Wednesday.

According to Saudi media, eight alleged suspects were arrested in a raid carried out by Saudi police. The suspects have admitted their involvement in being part of Hundi system. They also said that they used money from immigrants to send money abroad. Saudi police has confiscated the Hundi registers.

At least 2.5 million Saudi riyal were also recovered from the suspects.
