Lahore (Staff report): The Lahore High Court on Wednesday extended Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz’s bail plea in Ramzan Sugar Mills, Punjab Saaf Pani and assets beyond means cases till May 22.
A two-member bench of the LHC, comprising Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan and Justice Mirza Viqas Rauf heard PML-N’s pre-arrest bail petitions.
During the hearing, the NAB officials informed the bench that all papers regarding the case could not be handed over to the PML-N leader under the law.
Hamza appeared before the august court after his bail expired today and sought further extension which was approved.
