Mumbai (Web Desk): Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh put to rest all rumours regarding tying the knot with Deepika Padukone, saying there is nothing of the sort on the cards at the moment since they both have other engagements at the moment.
“It is the function of speculation – to exist. Nothing is official till it is made official and I am not a seer. I cannot say this will happen on this date in the future. Right now we are both extremely busy working. Besides, she is also recuperating from back problems. So we are quite occupied and distracted,” Ranveer said while speaking to a leading Indian magazine.
Rumours were rife that the couple will have a destination wedding later this year.
Last year Deepika denied such rumours by a firm no, “There’s no such plan anytime soon. I’m not pregnant, I’m not having a baby, I’m not engaged and I’m not married. And I’m not even planning to get married anytime soon.”
This year her response remained short and sweet, she said, “When it is time, I think I will know it. I have always followed my instincts. So whenever I am ready or it has to happen, it will.”
