Army chief meets Saudi Vice Defence Minister

Rawalpindi (Staff Report): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Bajwa on Wednesday met with Saudi Vice Defence Minister and discussed matters pertaining to defence and bilateral ties.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Bajwa said that Pakistan attaches great importance to strategic relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Army Chief said that Pakistan is determined for the protection of Haramain Sharifain, the ISPR said.

The Saudi minister praised Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism and assured it of cooperation in every matter, the statement added.
