Imran Khan urges SC to seek PM Nawaz’s resign till JIT

Islamabad (Staff Report): Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has urged the Supreme Court on Friday to seek resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif till the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) completes probe into Panama case.

Imran Khan stated that PM Nawaz is an obstacle in the investigation of his family’s money trail and offshore accounts.

PTI Chief said while addressing to media at Bani Gala, “PML-N lawmaker Nehal Hashmi had already attacked the JIT with his furious speech.” He criticised the ruling party of PML-N for interfering in the interrogation conducted by JIT.

He requested the apex court to issue orders for PM Nawaz to resign because he would never resign on their demand.

He said while expressing hope that the decision will be in their favour, “We are waiting for the final verdict of JIT,” adding that Nawaz Sharif and PML-N are dangerous entities.
