COAS Bajwa visits CSC, vows to complete census at all costs

Rawalpindi (Staff Report): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday visited the Army Census Support Centre (CSC) at the headquarters of Army Air Defence Command in Rawalpindi.

During the visit, General Bajwa was briefed on details about the support being extended to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics and the progress of the census so far, the Inter-Services Press Relations (ISPR) reported.

Gen Bajwa lauded the efforts of the Army CSC in the census, paying tributes to the soldiers and enumerators who laid down their lives while performing their national duty, ISPR reported.

"The census would be completed at all costs," ISPR quoted Gen Bajwa as saying. He said the smooth conduct of the census was the collective success of the army and the government.
