CDA seals Azam Swati's farmhouses in Islamabad

Islamabad (Web Desk): The Capital Development Authority (CDA) sealed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senator Azam Swati’s over illegal construction in in the Chak Shahzad area of the federal capital.

According to the CDA officials, the property was sealed for violating house-building laws.

The said that the  CDA earlier served a notice to family members of Swati over illegal construction in the farmhouse.

In the notices, the authorities warned the PTI leader to demolish two basements, ground floor, and guard rooms.

As per the authority, Swati was also directed to get the approval for the new building plan with payment of fine, or the illegally constructed sites would be demolished.

The development took place as the Sindh police on Friday took Azam Swati into custody from Quetta as two cases were registered against him in Sindh.

The PTI senior leader is facing a flurry of cases and is currently held by Sindh police, weeks after hurling threats at senior officers of state institutions.

Earlier on Friday, the Balochistan High Court (BHC) ordered to quash all cases registered against Azam Swati across the province and also ordered his release.
