Lahore (Web Desk): Former President and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, quoting media reports, claimed that members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the ttack on him in Wazirabad were being “pressurised to distance themselves” from the findings of the case.
“As per media reports, JIT members being pressurised to distance themselves from the findings of JIT investigating assassination plot against me,” Imran Khan said in a tweet and added, “This further confirms my conviction that powerful quarters were behind the assassination attempt on me.”

Last year Nov 3, Imran Khan had sustained a bullet wound to his leg after an armed attack on his container, as he led the PTI’s ‘Haqeeqi Azadi March’ in Wazirabad.
One person had died in the incident, while several members of the PTI chairman’s close circle, including Senator Faisal Javaid, former Sindh governor Imran Ismail, Ahmad Chattha and Imran Yousaf, were injured.
To probe the incident, the Punjab government constituted a JIT.
