Islamabad (Web Desk): The Federal Cabinet on Friday approved budget proposals for fiscal year 2022-23.
According to details, the cabinet also accorded approval to the Finance Bill 2022.
Finance Minister Miftah Ismael will present the budgetary proposals in the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that PM Shehbaz approved an increase of fifteen percent in the salaries of government employees with the consent of the cabinet.
In a tweet, She said that the prime minister rejected the finance ministry's proposal of a ten percent increase.
The minister said that merging of adhoc allowances into the basic pay has also been approved.
