Lahore (Staff Report): Internet and Mobile services all across Pakistan are having issues today due to Chehlum of Martyrs of Karbala. In Sindh, it was already announced that mobile and internet services will be suspended due to Chehlum.
Uber and Careem have also posted on their social media pages that the service might face issues today.

As internet service is suspended in many areas today, therefore, the drivers are unable to communicate with riders. Now ride-hailing services like Uber and Careem depend on mobile signals and internet availability to communicate with the rider.
Therefore, people, should avoid traveling or may go back to traditional transport system today and use taxis.
