Lahore (Web Desk): The World Population Day is being observed across the globe today (Tuesday), July 11 to create awareness about population growth and related issues.
This year's theme is "Family Planning: Empowering People, Developing Nations."
Various NGOs and Academic Institutions will hold seminars, awareness-walks and workshops with the aim to shed light on the significance of Family Planning and hazards of overpopulation.
This day is being marked since July 11th when the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the first time marked it as the world Population day.
