Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday nominated Senator Mirza Mohammad Afridi, a member from former FATA, as the candidate for Senate deputy chairman slot.
“Prime Minister Imran khan has nominated Senator Mirza Mohammad Afridi for Deputy Chairman Slot giving representation to Ex FATA PTI member,” said Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz in a tweet.

Afridi was elected to the Senate in the March 2018 elections as an independent candidate from Fata on a general seat.
The elections for the posts will be held on March 12 (Thursday).
