Quaid-i-Azam Park set to open in Canada

Lahore (Web Desk): For the first time a park named after Pakistan’s founder Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is due to be inaugurated in Canada on May 12 (Saturday).

According to details, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Canada Tariq Azim Khan will inaugurate the park, located in Tim Sale, Northern Lights, South Pointe, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The government of Manitoba province has invited the Pakistani high commissioner to open the park, while the Pakistani diaspora in Winnipeg will also be welcomed on the event.

During the visit, Tariq Azam Khan will meet the Lt Governor of Manitoba, Minister of Families, Minister of Trade and Education.

The credit goes to the Pakistani community residing in London, for their efforts in naming the park after Quaid-i-Azam on a foreign land.
