PM Imran reviews flood, COVID-19 situation in Balochistan

Quetta (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday chaired a briefing in Quetta to review the flood situation, COVID-19 and development projects in Balochistan.

The prime minister was briefed about ongoing developmental projects and law and order situation in the province.

Chief Secretary Balochistan Fazeel Asghar briefed the meeting about damages caused by recent rains, floods and overall law and order situation in the province.

PM Imran appreciated the provincial government and assured full support of federal government for completion of development projects.

Meanwhile, the premier Members of the provincial cabinet will also call on the prime minister.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Quetta on a day-long visit.

Governor Balochistan Justice retired Amanullah Khan and Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan received the Prime Minister, the Radio Pakistan reported.

PM Imran is accompanied by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umer, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri and Chairman NDMA Lt. General Muhammad Afzal.
