Karachi (Web Desk): Renowned Pakistani actress Durdana Butt passed away at the age of 83 in Karachi on Thursday.
According to details, the veteran artist was on was put on ventilator previously and has died of COVID-19.
Born on May 9, 1938, in Lahore, Butt started her acting journey in the early 70s.
The renowned actor is best remembered for her roles in dramas, most notably Fifty Fifty, Aangan Terha, Ruswai, Intezaar, and Tanhaiyaan.
In 2012, she appeared in Naye Silsilay. Apart from dramas, she also featured in several films as well, including Parey Hut Love, Balu Mahi, Ishq Positive, and Hijrat.
Soon after the news of her passing away broke out, many celebs took to social media and mourned her death.
