Lahore (Staff Report): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday predicted rain with thunderstorms in parts of Punjab.
According to details, rain with thundershower along and gusty winds with dust-storm expected at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), FATA, Islamabad, and cities of Punjab.
Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Quetta, Zhob, and Kalat divisions are expected to receive rain.
However, hot and dry weather is expected in the rest of the country including Karachi where maximum temperature is predicted to be between 35 – 37ºC for the next 24 hours. In Hyderabad, the temperature was recorded at 30°C today.
Temperature recorded on Saturday morning was:
Bahawalpur, Dadu, Faisalabad, and Multan 33°C, while Bhakkar, Okara, and Kasur 32°C, Bannu, DG Khan, Khanpurre, Kot Addu, Rahim Yar Khan, Sahiwal and Sialkot 31°C.
