Lahore (Staff Report):  Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday predicted rain with thunderstorms in parts of Punjab .

According to details, rain with thundershower along and gusty winds with dust-storm expected at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), FATA, Islamabad, and cities of Punjab .

Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Quetta, Zhob, and Kalat divisions are expected to receive rain .

However, hot and dry weather is expected in the rest of the country including Karachi where maximum temperature is predicted to be between 35 – 37ºC for the next 24 hours. In Hyderabad, the temperature was recorded at 30°C today.

Temperature recorded on Saturday morning was:

Bahawalpur, Dadu, Faisalabad, and Multan 33°C, while Bhakkar, Okara, and Kasur 32°C, Bannu, DG Khan, Khanpurre, Kot Addu, Rahim Yar Khan, Sahiwal and Sialkot 31°C.
