5.2 magnitude earthquake jolts Islamabad, parts of KP

Islamabad (Web Desk): A 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted the federal capital and different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

According to details earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and its adjoining areas, Peshawar, Swat, Mohmand, Charsadda and Bajur.

Moreover, the tremors were also felt in parts of North Waziristan including Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Swabi, Mardan and Nowshera.

According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the epicenter of the quake was in Hindukush region and it struck at the depth of 251 kilometers.
