New Delhi (Web Desk): Recently discussed an obnoxious incident is faced by renowned Bollywood actor Vidya Balan at Kolkata Airport when she was manhandled by a fan.
The incident happened while Vidya was out promoting her upcoming movie Behum Jaan and was with producer Mahesh Bhatt and director Srijit Mukherjee.
All three were in airport when the man approached her and asked if he could click a selfie with her, Vidya permitted with a smile for her fan.
The famous star of Dirty Picture was in an obvious shock when the guy put an arm around her, and asked the man to stop. But he still held his arm on to her, and refused to remove his arm despite the actor’s firm stance.
However, the man removed his hand when Vidya’s manager intervened. As Vidya faced the camera for the third time, he again placed his hand on her back, and that is when Vidya became infuriated.
She screamed, “What do you think you are doing? This is wrong.” The man still had the nerve to ask: ‘Can I have a selfie?” Vidya told him off in a loud voice, ‘No you can’t, behave yourself!”
During an interview she told the story and said.
“We are public figures, not public property,” Vidya added.
