Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): Minister for Power Omar Ayub on Monday informed the National Assembly that no loadshedding is being carried out on 8790 feeders across the country during Sehr and Iftar timing.
Responding to a calling attention notice moved by Ali Nawaz Khan, Omar Ayub told the house that it is the first time in the last ten years that no loadshedding is being carried out during Ramazan.
He said credit for this goes to the PTI government for delivering and bringing efficiency in the electricity system.
Omar Ayub said there is backlog of 1.5 million gas connections and we want to address this issue.
