DERA GHAZI KHAN (Staff Report): At least ten terrorists were killed while three personnel of Punjab Rangers embraced martyrdom in a joint operation in Dera Ghazi Khan on Friday, said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Punjab Rangers, Intelligence Agencies and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a raid in Basti Dadwani near Choti Zerin against militants. During an exchange of firing, security forces killed ten terrorists including Muhammad Asghar Dadwani alias Ustad Gorchani and Muhammad Naeem aka Waqas Dadwani, military’s media wing said .
Three Rangers officers identified as Havaldar Asif, Sepoy Aftab and Sepoy Azizullah also lost their lives while two others sustained severe wounds who have been shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Multan by army helicopter.
The operation is still continuing to flush the area of terrorists who were involved in heinous crimes, ransom and terrorist activities.
