Pakistan writes UNSC for session on Kashmir issue

Islamabad (Agencies) Pakistan has asked the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to summon its session on the deteriorating situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

In a letter, written by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to the UNSC president, has requested that the Indian act, which ia unconstitutional and against the conventions of the United Nations, should be discussed in a session.

“We are willing to go to any lengths for our defence,” stated the foreign minister, adding that the events of February 2018 stand as a testimony to his statement.


Earlier, Pakistan had announced to approach the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) over India’s move to revoke Article 370.
