Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the federal cabinet on Thursday.
According to sources, the meeting besides agenda items, discussed overall political and economic situation of the country. The cabinet also reviewed progress on the previous decisions taken in sessions.
Relaxation in Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules 2004 in infrastructure and economic inclusion projects were also approved during the meeting.
The cabinet also discussed Anti-Narcotics Policy 2018 along with approving appointments of the heads of EOBI, Gawadar Port Authority and Agriculture Development Bank.
The cabinet also approved PIMS ordinance 2019, amendments in National Disaster Management Act 2010.
