Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab budget for the fiscal year 2021-22 with an outlay of over Rs2600 is being presented in the Punjab Assembly in Lahore today (Monday).
Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht presented the budget.
According to a spokesperson of Punjab Finance Department, a special package for industries and a number of public welfare projects will be announced in the budget.
“The provision of health Sahulat Cards will be ensured to 100 percent population of the province by December this year,” the spokesperson added.
Meanwhile, a special meeting of the Punjab Cabinet was held today under the chair of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar in Lahore.
The meeting approved the budget proposals for the financial year 2021-22.
