Lahore (Staff Report): At least three police personnel were injured as unidentified men opened fire on them near Lady Willingdon Hospital in Lahore on early Tuesday morning, and managed to flee afterwards.
Police officials stated that unidentified men opened fire from inside a car when they were asked to stop by police near Lady Willingdon Hospital.
Police informed that all three were posted in Ghaziabad CIA. Rizwan, Zafar and Afzal have been identified as the three injured. The injured police officers were taken to Mayo Hospital.
Two of the injured police officers are in critical condition, hospital sources said.
According to police, the police officers were off-duty and going back home when they were attacked.
