Met office predicts rainfall in next 24-hour

Lahore (Staff Report): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rainfall in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala and some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan in next 24 hours.

Moreover, light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected next week at isolated places in D.I Khan Division, upper FATA, and its adjoining hilly areas.

Hot and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country during the last twelve hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning was:

Islamabad 30 degree centigrade, Lahore 33, Peshawar 29, Karachi 36, Quetta 28, Gilgit, Murree and Muzaffarabad 18 degree centigrade.
