Islamabad (Web Desk): The government on Monday announced to increase petrol price by Rs6.72 per litre for the next 15 days.
In a statement, Ministry of Finance said that in view of the fluctuation in petroleum prices in international market and exchange rate variation, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs6.72 per litre whereas the price of light diesel oil by Rs0.43 per litre.
Likewise, the price of high speed diesel has been decreased by Rs0.51 per litre and Kerosene oil by Rs1.67 per liter.
Following the new changes, the price of petrol will be Rs233.91 per litre, diesel will be Rs244.44 per litre, kerosene oil will be sold for Rs199.40 per litre, and the price of light diesel oil will be Rs191.75 per litre.
The new prices will come into effect from August 16, 2022 (Tuesday).
