APS carnage will never be forgotten: COAS Bajwa

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday vowed that the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar carnage will never be forgotten.

The whole nation is still overwhelmed by grief and sorrow even five years have passed since terrorists attacked the APS, leaving 147 people, most of them students, martyred.

“APS carnage will never be forgotten. Five of the involved terrorists have been hanged through military courts. Salute to martyrs and their families. We have come a long way in failing terrorism as a nation. United we move towards lasting peace and prosperity of Pakistan”, COASBajwa’s remark were shared by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor on Twitter.

On December 16, 2014, terrorists stormed the army-run school and martyred around 150 people, including more than 130 young students.
