Islamabad (Staff Report): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has directed the Ministry of Religious Affairs to immediately convene a meeting for early finalization of policy options for Hajj 2018.
PM was addressing a meeting on Hajj policy in Islamabad where he said that after approval from the Cabinet, the process of inviting applications for Hajj should be started as soon as possible to ensure timely completion of balloting process and arrangements and training of the Hujjaj.
He also directed that special considerations should be given to the applicants over the age of seventy five years and to those who have been applying for three consecutive years but are not selected through the balloting process.
