Murree (Staff Report): The Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of alleged harassment of tourist couple by Murree hotel agents.
According to the eyewitnesses, the incident emerged when some hotel agents catcalled at a woman tourist near Grand Post Office (GPO) Chowk while she was walking on Murree’s Mall Road around 6.30 pm with her husband.

Bystanders and traffic police officers present at the scene intervened and broke up the scuffle, however, the in-charge at the bazaar’s local check-post refused to take any action on family’s complaint, citing jurisdiction.
A video of the incident also went viral on the social media following which the CM took notice and directed the Punjab inspector-general (IG) to submit a report.
