Rawalpindi (Agencies): Security forces on Saturday killed three terrorists in Dera Ghazi Khan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a joint action under operation Raddul Fasaad, security forces – Punjab Rangers, Elite Forces and intelligence agencies – conducted an intelligence-based operation in an area of the city. During the operation, two Rangers officials were also injured.
The security officials also recovered rocket launchers, IED devices, hand grenades and other weapons from the possession of the terrorists.
The identity of the killed terrorists is yet to be ascertained.
In Feb 2017, Pakistan Army launched ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’ across the country to root out terrorism without any discrimination.
