Lahore (Web Desk): Early morning rain today (Saturday) in Punjab’s provincial capital turned the weather pleasant for Lahoris braving scorching sun from a couple of days.
According to details, the rain lashed different areas including Township, Defence, Cavalry Ground, Jail road, Ferozpur road and cantonment area besides other parts of the city.
After heavy rain the temperature plummeted to 23∘ C, that also caused power cuts in different areas. However, social media buffs shared their joy online after the rain that would certainly soothe the weekend.
On the other hand, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas also received rain early on Saturday morning.
Moreover, the Met Office has forecast more rain with dust and thunderstorm associated with gusty winds at few places in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Kohat, Zhob divisions, FATA and Kashmir during next twelve hours.
