Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman has demanded an immediate general elections in the country.
The JUI-F chief said that its time for all the political parties to go for general elections and seek a fresh mandate.
“There is a limit to political expediency. We don’t think there is any need to unnecessarily prolong stay at the office,” he said.
The PDM chairman’s statement comes at a time when PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has advised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to give cabinet positions to all the coalition partners.
According to the sources, it is expected that in the first phase of the cabinet, around 10-12 ministers will take oath on Monday or Tuesday.
