Army chief Bajwa confirms death sentence of 30 terrorists

Rawalpindi (Staff Report): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has signed the death warrants for 30 "hardcore terrorists" including convicts of 2014 Army Public School attack.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists, awarded capital punishment by military courts, were involved in "heinous offences," which included the "kidnapping and slaughtering" of soldiers of the Frontier Constabulary (FC), an attack on Saidu Sharif airport and attack on the APS.

The 'terrorists' were also responsible for killing innocent civilians, attacking the armed forces of Pakistan and law enforcement agencies, , the military's media wing said.
