First ODI: South Africa bat first against Pakistan

Port Elizabeth (Agencies): South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first against Pakistan in the first of five one-day internationals (ODI) at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

Pakistan will try their best to bounce back from the setback of the 3-0 Test series defeat to gain the momentum ahead of the world cup.

Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez have been included the Pakistani squad for ODI series against South Africa.

Duanne Olivier and Rassie van der Dussen will be making their ODI debuts for the hosts.

In the absence of Dale Steyn, who has been rested for first two games, Olivier will expect to lead the attack from the front, who topped the charts with 24 wickets against Pakistan in the Test series.
