Quetta (Web Desk): Balochistan government on Wednesday unveiled over Rs419 billion budget for 2019-20, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Provincial Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmad Buledi presented the annual budget during the Balochistan Assembly session chaired by Speaker Abdul Qaddus Bizenjo.
Presenting the budget for the next year, the finance minister said that the total outlay of the budget is more than Rs419 billion.
He told the House that Rs126 billion has been allocated for development and over Rs257 billion for non-development expenditures while the deficit of the budget is about Rs49 billion.
Buledi further informed the lawmakers that over Rs60 billion has been set aside for education sector whereas Rs44.6 billion has been allocated to improve the law and order situation.
