Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan left for Saudi Arabia today (Thursday) for a two-day visit.
According to a statement issued by the PM Office, the PM is visiting Saudi Arabia before his visit to New York to attend the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGS).
PM Imran and the Saudi leadership are expected to discuss "the various dimensions of the grave situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, arising from India’s illegal and unilateral actions of 5 August 2019", the statement added.
FO spokesperson Muhammad Faisal said that the prime minister has been in regular contact on the Kashmir issue with Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman.
He said that both the leaders will also discuss ways of further strengthening the economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
