Two terrorists killed in North Waziristan IBO: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces have killed at least two terrorists, including a commander, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, the military's media wing said on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intense fire exchange took place between the army troops and terrorists during the operation.

"Resultantly, two terrorists got killed, including Commander Khabaib Alias Bilal of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group", the ISPR said.

The military's media wing said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the site.

"These terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces, preparation of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and killing of innocent citizens," the ISPR statement said.
