Washington DC (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan has met the Pakistani business community on Sunday at the Pakistani embassy in Washington DC during his first official visit to the United States.
According to press release, Prime Minister Imran Khan invited businessmen and investors to benefit from the economic and business opportunities afforded by Pakistan's strategic location and the connectivity to the broader region.
The press statement said that the investors appreciated improved security environment in Pakistan and identified areas of interest with regard to investment in key sectors including energy and tourism.
PM Imran arrived in Washington early on Sunday in a first-ever visit to the US.
During his three-day visit, PM is scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump on July 22.
