Lahore (Staff Report): The federal government on Friday appointed IG Railways Faisal Shahkar as new Punjab police chief.
His predecessor Rao Sardar Ali Khan has been appointed Pakistan Railways IG.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Rao Sardar Ali Khan had apologised to remain further on their posts.
