Pakistan condemns suicide attacks in Afghanistan

Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the "heinous and reprehensible" terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, the statement of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry revealed.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry expressed grieved at the loss of precious innocent lives in this brutal act of terrorism.

The ministry's spokesman Mohammad Faisal expressed sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

He said Pakistan reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and expresses solidarity with the government and people of Afghanistan in this hour of grief and sorrow.

It is pertinent to remember that a suicide blast occurred targeting innocent civilians at a voters' registration center in capital Kabul of Afghanistan on Sunday.

According to the Afghan Public Health Ministry, the death toll from the deadly Kabul suicide attack reached 52 while 112 others were wounded.
