Hot, humid weather likely to prevail in most parts of country: Met

Lahore (Staff Report): Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

According to Met, rain with thunderstorm and gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and Lahore divisions, FATA, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

In Karachi another powerful thunderstorm hit on Tuesday night, bringing heavy rain, lightning and power cuts.
Consequently, the showers flooded major streets in the city, halting traffic and plunging many areas of Karachi into darkness as dozens of K-Electric feeders tripped due to heavy rain.

Islamabad 24°C, Lahore 28°C, Karachi 26°C, Peshawar 27°C, Quetta 23°C,Gilgit e 18°C, Murree  17°C and Muzaffarabad 22°C.
