Lahore/Quetta/Karachi/Peshawar (Staff Report/Agencies): The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 1,566,869 on Tuesday after 217 new cases surfaced in the country during the last 24 hours.
As per data shared by the National Institute of Health (NIH), 11,285 coronavirus tests were conducted across the country during the last 24 hours while positivity ratio remained 1.92%.
Two deaths were reported from the disease in the last 24 hours while 116 patients were on critical care across the country.
The total deaths currently stand at 30,557, according to the NIH data.
