PML-F Nusrat accepts PPP minister’s apology over inappropriate remarks

Earlier today, PML-F's Nusrat Sehar Abbasi had threatened to commit self-immolation over the inappropriate remarks of Pakistan People’s Party minister Imdad Pitafi and demanded for his dismissal within two days.

Ms Abbasi carried a bottle filled with petrol and threatened while speaking with the media outside assembly building that she will set herself on fire if the ‘rogue’ Minister for Works and Services was not removed from his position.

Later, Sindh Minister for Works and Services Imdad Pitafi Nusrat Sahar and he draped a traditional shawl over the PML-F leader's head and apologised.

Nusrat accepted his apology and said that she had forgiven Pitafi for the sake of the shawl. She also thanked PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto for ‘realizing the matter’. During the last assembly session, Minister Imdad Pitafi had passed some inappropriate remarks at Abbasi when she asked the minister to explain answers into English during the question hour. And the minister’s improper response sparked fury among the opposition benches.
