Quetta (Staff Report): A police sergeant tragically died after MPA Dr Majeed Achakzai ran his vehicle over him.
Haji Attaullah Dasti, 42, a traffic sergeant was performing his duty on Shaheed Fayaz Sunbal Chowk on Tuesday evening when Achakzai, belongs to Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) and is currently the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), ran his vehicle over him. Dasti was taken to Trauma centre but succumbed to injuries soon.
According to Balochistan Voices, some sources have alleged that in fact Abdul Majeed Achakzai himself was driving the vehicle and is now presenting his driver as a scapegoat to get away with the murder of Traffic Sergeant.
