Women’s World Cup: Australia beat Pakistan in warm-up match

Leicester, England (Web Desk): Australia beat Pakistan by eight wickets in ICC Women’s World Cup warm-up match at Leicester on Thursday.

Australia won the toss and chose to bowl.

Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out after scoring 156 runs in 46.4 overs.

Nahida Khan was the top scorer with 51 runs with 57 balls with seven boundaries to her name.

Australia chased the target of 157 runs in 23.2 overs with eight wickets to spare.

Mooney scored 63 runs from 72 balls before she was retired out while Meg Lanning and Nicole Bolton scored 40 and 31 runs for the team.
