Nawaz Sharif says ‘slapping is part of PTI’s culture’

Islamabad (Staff Report): Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday evaluated the slapping incident as ‘part of PTI’s culture’.

The statement came after the incident when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Naeemul Haque physically assaulted PML-N’s Daniyal Aziz for uttering indecent remarks during a current affairs talk show.

While speaking to journalists before the accountability court Nawaz Sharif remarked that situation is quite sad.

He slammed Pakitan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan for being responsible and added that this is the culture of PTI.

He said, “One by one all hidden agendas of PTI are being exposed.”

Nawaz Sharif also questioned PTI’s performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “What work has PTI done in KPK? Can PTI even state one development project which is worth mentioning? PTI has done nothing but stage dharnas and follow the umpire’s finger,” he added.

When asked about what people think about his statements, he said that the entire nation agrees with his statements.

The PML-N Quaid also shared that he will address the party rally at 5pm today.

Earlier, on Tuesday, the brawl erupted when Aziz , the minister for Privatisation, called Haq a ‘thief’ during the recording of Geo News’ programme ‘Aapas Ki Baat’.

Aziz’s inappropriate remarks fumed Haq , which led to a heated exchange between the two figures.

However, the show host, Muneeb Farooq managed to defuse the tense situation following the fight.
